Cookie Policy
Last updated: 01/11/2026
This Policy applies to everyone who visits regency-comfort.com. It explains which cookies we use, why, and how you can control them.
1. About this Cookie Policy
Cookies are small text files that a website places on your device when you visit it. Similar technologies (such as local storage and session storage) work in the same way and are covered by this Policy whenever we say “cookies”. Cookies let a website work properly and remember what you are doing, for example a booking in progress.
This page is published on our website as a standalone policy. It lists the cookies used on regency-comfort.com and explains how to control them. It complements our Privacy Policy, which explains how we handle personal data in general (see Section 11 of the Privacy Policy), and does not replace it or our Terms & Conditions.
2. Who is responsible
The website regency-comfort.com is operated by Regency Comfort d.o.o. Beograd, Koste Abraševića 33/1, 11050 Belgrade, Serbia (registration no. 21179540, PIB 109423828). Contact: info@regency-comfort.com. Some cookies are placed by third parties; Section 4 identifies them.
3. Only strictly necessary cookies
We use only cookies that are strictly necessary for the website and the booking function to work. These cookies do not require your consent, so we do not show a cookie banner. We do not use analytics, advertising, remarketing or social-media tracking cookies.
If we decide to use any other kind of cookie in the future, we will update this Policy first and set those cookies only after you have agreed through a consent banner, where you will be able to accept or reject them as easily as each other.
4. The cookies we use
The table below lists the cookies and similar technologies used when you browse our website and make a booking. Durations are the maximum lifetime of each item.
| Cookie and who sets it | Purpose | Duration and category |
|---|---|---|
| booking — Beds24 (booking engine, beds24.com) | Keeps your booking in progress (dates, rooms and number of guests) working and secure while you complete it. WordPress keeps one technical entry (wpEmojiSettingsSupports), which checks emoji support and holds no personal data. | Session (deleted when you close your browser). Strictly necessary |
| Session storage — Beds24 (booking engine, beds24.com) | Remembers the dates and rooms you selected while you move between the steps of the booking page | Session (deleted when you close the browser tab). Strictly necessary |
| wpEmojiSettingsSupports (session storage) — Regency Comfort (first party) | Checks whether your browser can display emoji, so that text shows correctly. It contains no personal data | Session (deleted when you close the browser tab). Strictly necessary |
Visitors to our website do not receive any cookies from regency-comfort.com itself. The website platform sets login cookies (wordpress_logged_in_*, wordpress_sec_*, wordpress_test_cookie, wp-settings-*) only for our staff when they sign in to manage the website; guests never receive them.
5. Third parties
Booking engine. Bookings are managed through Beds24. When you check availability or book, you continue to the Beds24 booking page, which uses the cookies listed in Section 4 only to make the booking function work.
Payment page. When you pay, you are taken to the secure payment page of our payment provider, AllSecure. That page is run by AllSecure, not by us, and may use its own cookies under its own policy. We never see or store your card details.
6. How to manage cookies
You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings (see your browser’s help pages for how).
Because we use only strictly necessary cookies, blocking them may stop parts of the site from working, in particular making a booking.
7. Personal data and your rights
Cookie identifiers may be personal data. We handle them as described in our Privacy Policy: the legal basis for strictly necessary cookies is our legitimate interest in providing a working and secure website and booking service (Section 4 of the Privacy Policy), and the rights listed in Section 9 of the Privacy Policy apply. To exercise a right, or to ask a question about cookies, contact us at info@regency-comfort.com.
You may also complain to the Serbian Commissioner (www.poverenik.rs), to the supervisory authority of your EU Member State if you live in the EU, or to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office if you live in the United Kingdom.
8. Changes to this Policy
We update this Policy when we change the cookies or tools we use. The version published on our website at the time of your visit applies to you. The date of the last update is shown at the top of this page. If a change adds a new category of cookies, we will ask for your consent before using them.
Please also see our Privacy Policy and Terms & Conditions. If a Serbian and an English version differ, the Serbian version prevails.
